Littleton Public Schools and Arapahoe County recently identified an issue with an address list that resulted in the omission of the Littleton Public Schools – School Director-At-Large contest from 59 mailed ballots.

Once the omission was identified, the County issued corrected ballots and contacted all affected voters via mail. County staff members also contacted voters via email and telephone, when possible.

Affected voters can vote and return their new, corrected ballot. If they have already returned the inaccurate ballot, it will be voided and the new ballot counted. Only one ballot per voter will be counted.

All ballots must be returned to a drop box or vote center no later than 7 p.m. on Nov. 4.

Every elector has the right to make their voice heard in contests for which they are eligible, and we make every effort to make certain that voter voices are heard.

If you have questions, please call Arapahoe County at 303-795-4511 or email at elections@arapahoegov.com.

LPS employs over 900 part- and full-time classified employees, which represents around half of our workforce. These dedicated professionals work in our offices, provide aid in our health clinics, drive our buses, serve our meals, staff our childcare programs, and support the overall learning and development of each of our students.

Whether it's our operations staff clearing inches of snow in the winter, our custodial team working diligently to maintain our learning environments, or the vigilant security professionals ensuring our safety, each plays a vital role in keeping our district safe, clean, and operational. We are so grateful for each and every one of them, and we thank them for their service to LPS’s students, families, and community.

Please join us in thanking our classified employees this week!

✨ Latinos In Action Boot Camp – September 12, 2025 ✨

On September 12, student leaders from across the Denver metro area gathered for the Latinos In Action (LIA) Boot Camp! Over 35 students from Euclid, Heritage HS, Littleton HS, Vista PEAK, and Gateway (Aurora Public Schools) came together for a powerful day of growth, collaboration, and leadership.

Students had the unique opportunity to meet with Dr. Jose Enriquez, founder of LIA, and participate in interactive activities that focused on teamwork, goal setting, and developing key leadership skills.

We are so proud of our students for representing their schools with excellence and for stepping up as future leaders in their communities. 💪🌟

A round of applause for Spencer Navarre, Troop 361, who has shown what true leadership looks like by completing his Eagle Scout project for Sweet Dreams in a Bag! 🦅✨

Through vision, planning, and teamwork, Spencer Navarre led the way in building a brand-new storage shed that will now protect and organize the bedding packages we create for children in need. His dedication ensures that even more kids will receive the gift of comfort, dignity, and love at bedtime. 💙🛏️

Becoming an Eagle Scout is no small feat—it’s the highest rank in Scouting, earned through perseverance, service, and leadership. Spencer Navarre exemplified all of that and more in this project.

We are beyond grateful for the heart, time, and commitment poured into this work. Way to go, Spencer Navarre—your leadership leaves a lasting impact on both Sweet Dreams and the children we serve! 👏
