On September 27, 2025, the East Community Center proudly hosted its 2nd Annual Community Resource Expo, a collaborative effort between the center’s on-site organizations and local community partners. The event aimed to connect families and individuals with essential programs and resources that support the well-being of the Littleton community.
This year’s expo featured an impressive 37 participating organizations, representing a wide range of services—from Littleton Public Schools programs to organizations addressing food insecurity, mental health, and county assistance programs. Community favorites such as Xcel Energy’s Red Truck, The Bemis Library Bookmobile, and CSU Extension also joined in to share valuable resources and information.
The sunny fall weather set the perfect scene as the Littleton Elks Lodge grilled up lunch and cotton candy for attendees at no cost, while Kona Ice provided cool, sweet treats. Entertainment and engagement filled the day with the Littleton Mounted Police making rounds, Littleton Taekwondo students performing demonstrations, and visitors testing their soccer skills at the CO United booth.
A special thank you goes out to the volunteers who made the event possible—many of them local high school students from Arapahoe, Heritage, and Littleton High Schools. Their energy and enthusiasm helped ensure a smooth event, from setup to cleanup. Volunteers also hosted lawn games, face painting, and managed attendee check-ins, adding fun and excitement throughout the day.
The East Community Center Community Resource Expo continues to grow each year, fostering connection, collaboration, and community spirit. For those who couldn’t attend this year, mark your calendars now—the next Expo is scheduled for September 19, 2026. You won’t want to miss it!
